Richard worked for BP Plc for 16 years across a number of different businesses and roles including Research Chemist, Commercial Manager and Negotiator, with responsibility for negotiating with governments and international oil companies.
In 2011, Richard co-founded Alive and Dangerous which aims to support men in their Christian faith.

Claire has been the CEO of Shift Youth + Community since 2014, delivering, and equipping others to deliver, effective Youth and Community work. She has worked in this field for more than 20 years in 8 countries across 5 continents. Her greatest joys are mentoring, coaching and training young people and leaders.

JOHN NEATE

John has over 35 years’ experience of leadership roles in the voluntary sector and the NHS – including nearly a decade as Chief Executive of Prostate Cancer UK. He currently has a mix of roles, including; management consultant, trustee of Embrace the Middle East, Partnership Lead for a leadership development and mentoring project in Kenya and Chair of Mercy Central, a Christian charity helping people with financial problems get back on their feet.
WHERE WE OPERATE
Chapter2 is a recently established charity based in Reading, Berkshire. With time we hope to expand beyond our current focus area.

Chapter2 is a Christian organisation with a firm belief that Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God and whose love for mankind is the motivation behind what we do. Chapter2 is registered under the laws of England and Wales as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Registered Charity No. 1177011). The board of trustees are responsible for the management and day to day running of the charity.
